would you want to live in a precrime society? why?
There is always some way around a government system. There is always a way for the system to get messed up. Living in a pre-crime society, I feel is unnecessary because I have a lived ini a society where people are arrested after they have committed a crime and not before. Thats why they have jobs such as the police, SWAT, security and what not. I feel that getting arrested before you actually do something sounds like a good idea when, in my eyes its really not. What if they supposedly psychic source was wrong? Then a completely innocent person has been wrongfully accused and exiled...for no reason at all. There is always a way to strongly refute the other side. But, in my opinion a pre-crime society has its glitches just like the society that we live in today.

Discuss your experience with spent.
I found this activity VERY interesting. It made me think about all the thing that so many people have to go through. and that people struggle everyday and just have to deal with it. The job that I got was the line worker job because my typing wasn't efficient for the temp job. The activity had a lot of twist and turns and put me in situations that I actually had to think about because I didn't know how to deal with, like my dog being sick, which one to choose...let the dog suffer, get him expensive treatment or put him to sleep. I had to do the activity over two times and the last time I think I came out of the situation well I was left over with $900 after a month.

Analyze and respond to your food journal and why don't we know where our food comes from?
I haven't been eating "healthy" at all, I eat the same thing everyday...pizza and fries with Hi-C literally everyday, the options that they give us with the meal plan really do not satisfy me. over the weekend. I had chinese food, which was about 8 dollars. I usually feel that it doesn't matter that I eat this way because I go to the gym almost everyday.
Why don't we know where our food comes from? I feel that we don't know where our food comes from because, industries want to be on the safe side. They probably feel like if we did know where our food came from they would lose profits and people would go on strike because its probably nothing like what the people expected.

How much do you think about what you eat?
I think about what I eat all the time. When I eat meat I always think about what they did to kill the animal, was it sanitized where they killed the animal. Thats basically why I don't eat beef because I saw how they make it. I was definitely disgusting. I know that meat provides protein for bodies, but I often wonder what other foods can give us protein other than that. I also question what meats are healthier than the next and so on. Thats really all I think about. I just know when I eat foods I think about how much i'm going to gain after eating.

Heterosexual privilege? does it exist? what can society do about it?
Heterosexual privilege is a societal norm that all people are heterosexual. The basic civil rights and social privileges that a heterosexual person automatically receives that are denied to the LGBT community. I believe that this issue is definitely common in todays society because the LGBT community is definitely making it more aware that they are people too and that they are here. I believe that nation wide, we are trying to resolve the issue like making gay marriage legal and what not. People just need to learn how to except people the way they are and not discriminate amongst a sexual preference.

How do these essays differ in organizations from the essay you wrote?
1) Both the essays that we had to read for today both addressed a problem in the beginning of them and towards the end, they reveals some sort of reasoning for the problem, where as in my essay that wrote, I simply just wrote a story in chronological order. The essay "Where I come from is like this" is set up with longer paragraphs than the one that I wrote making it seem longer and drawn out.
2) Do you as a man/woman in the US feel that you encounter sexism in your everyday life? in what way? Discuss.
I believe that today we do live up to society norms, and whether we know it or not sexism is hidden in some of those norms. As a woman I feel that I do encounter sexism in our everyday life but it isn't to a high extent because men and women do sort of see eye to eye in this day in age for example powder puff....

Beyond entertainment, what is the purpose of these writings? How do they function/fit into our culture?
We all have freedom of expression. We have the ability to express our feelings and ideas in many different ways, and writing in a blog happens to be one of those ways. I noticed that in todays society, well...the new generation has a problem with expressing themselves vocally and the purpose of these writings is to help express ourselves with what we know best, messages or in other words...text. Writing in blogs fit into our culture by a way of learning. there is a saying "you learn new things everyday" and writing in blogs can also help us learn new things about ourselves and reading the writings of others help us to learn new things about other people...
